Jeremiah Walker- Karate Instructor

Jeremiah Walker began training in karate in 1986 at the age of 11.  His competitive experience includes: qualifying and competing with WKA (World Karate Assoc.) United States Karate Team at the National and International level, TAAKA Amatuer Kickboxing (2-0), and Amatuer MMA (2-2). Walker graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in English/Spanish; he is a Texas State Certified Teacher. Walker currently has over 15 years of education experience, both working for the state of Texas and as a kata and strength / conditioning coach.  Walker is a Lifetime Member of USA Karate, United States Olympic Committee. 

In 2010, Walker received the “Academy of Masters- Instructor of the Year” award in Los Angeles, CA. Currently, in 2014, Walker holds the rank of fourth degree black belt with the Bekuku Ryu Karatedo Organization.

RGV Shotokan was established in 2005 and is an Official Charter Branch of SKIF (Shotokan Karatedo International Federation) under the Kanazawa family of Tokyo, Japan.  The current head of “International Affairs / Dan Rank Evaluations” is Murakami Manabu.
